Ok… here we go. Starting a blog. I am problably 10 years late to the party but I want to have somewhere to post more in depth tutorial, pattern reviews and more that is my own. I hope you will follow a long and see where this journey is taking me.

My name is Elisabeth – I live together with my husband in a house out on the countryside (well we are only twenty kilometer from the second biggest city in Sweden but sitting here watching out the windows at the birds and the deers charing food from the birdfeeder it really feels like the countryside 🙂

I am turning 50 years old later this year (how did that happen???) and I have for the last 23 years been suffering from a severe form of EDS with a lot of complications. It is a chronic illness that takes it tolls but my family and sewing helps me get up every day.

I have a youtube channel called ” Thestitchywife-sewing in Sweden where I have been very inactive the last 18 months but I am hoping to be able to be a lot more active there going forward (all depending on how my health is going) my first video in 4 months will be about free patterns and inspo for that for the #sewfrugal24 challange. Look forward to a blogpost about that tomorrow….
